New Zealand is one of the finest places to visit in the world, where you can witness the real beauty of nature. Situated in the southwestern region of the Pacific Ocean, the country is bestowed with splendid scenery. It is one of the most preferred tourist destinations in the world, divided into two main islands: the North Island and the South Island. People from different countries come to visit, and if you are planning to travel from Uruguay to New Zealand, the New Zealand NZeTA is your entry requirement.
As a Uruguay passport holder, you can stay in New Zealand for up to 90 days per visit without needing a traditional visa. However, from 1 October 2019, an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) is mandatory for all eligible visa-waiver countries, including Uruguay. You will also need to pay an International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) when visiting New Zealand.
Very few documents are needed to complete your NZeTA application. The required documents are as follows:

It is paid once at the same time as the NZeTA application and is valid for the full 2-year NZeTA period. See our visa fees page for current pricing.
