It is due to the visa waiver program, which requires citizens from other countries to obtain an electronic travel authority (eTA) for New Zealand. An NZeTA is not an option but a compulsory requirement for all nationals who wish to visit the country briefly. Before travelling to New Zealand, travellers must ensure their passport is valid for at least three months from departure.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><strong>NZeTA passport requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must obtain a passport issued by a visa-waiver country listed below, valid for at least three months after the applicant departs from New Zealand. This passport must be used to apply for and travel to New Zealand, particularly for dual nationals. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nzeta-visa.org\/\">NZeTA visa<\/a><\/strong> is connected to the holder&#8217;s passport electronically and is sent to the applicant via email in a PDF format that can be printed. The application form must include personal information, contact details, and passport information. Applicants must be in good health and have no criminal record. Upon payment of NZETA fees, the eTA application process commences. New Zealand eTA is delivered electronically. If additional documentation is requested, applicants will be contacted before NZeTA approves.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><strong>New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To apply for NZeTA, people must have a valid passport or travel document. If you have access with extra nationality, you must apply using the same passport you are travelling with. The NZeTA for NZ will be linked to the passport you have at the time you apply.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You need a valid credit card or a PayPal account to pay NZeTA. The fee for NZeTA includes eTA tax as well as tourist tax.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You must have a valid email address if you want NZeTA to be sent to your inbox. You are responsible for checking all the information you provide to ensure everything runs smoothly with NZeTA. Otherwise, you may have to apply for a different NZeTA.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><strong>How long can a person remain with the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA)?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The date of departure must be no later than three months after arrival. Furthermore, a person may only stay on a New Zealand eTA for six to twelve months.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><strong>How long is it permissible for an individual to remain in New Zealand under the auspices of a NZeTA?<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A passport holder must obtain an NZeTA (New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority) for one day up to ninety days.
